I’ve recently joined networking group Women Outside the Box, and already been invited to provide an article for the website which is packed full of starter advice for setting up in business, and insider views on a range of issues. Naturally my article is about story-led presentations.
I’m using a simpler model rather than the full Hero’s Journey model I started with. It’s quicker and easier to adapt to a business context, and the subtleties can be added further down the line in one to ones or a longer training programme. The feedback from the Capita training day I first tried it out at back in early September was great.
I’ve also already used this new version of the model with two very different businesses – one food based, one marketing – with speakers with completely different skill sets, and both went really well.
