Programming a festival, community centre or village hall? Or want to offer entertainment in your own home or garden? Storytelling is a fabulous, affordable experience and not just for kids!
With hardly any technical requirements, and adaptable to fit into the smallest of performance spaces, I have two one woman shows for adults and older teenagers which offer very different moods.
Both are approximately one hour long, and available for reasonable fees or box office splits with minimal technical requirements.
Love and Loss: Tales from Imagined Lands
Can the weaving girl hold on to love, when she has witnessed such worlds of sorrow? Kat stitches together tales from distant lands and across centuries in a simple, poetic exploration of the happiness and howling we find in love.
Once upon a Bawdy Night
Kat plunders medieval, renaissance and folk material and proves that storytellers have always had an interest in the earthy side of life in this evening of unashamed laughter at lechery. Naughty nuns, preposterous priests, jealous husbands and unsatisfied wives are among a host of colourful characters you’ll meet.
